I am offered to buy a domain and website, which is a forums, from a same niche as my e-commerce site. Other then buying domain, redirecting it to my url and gaining traffic, what other things could be done to benifit form this purchase. Offered domain as a few good backlinks from quality directories and same niche websites.
You can build some unique content in that domain, something you can´t talk about in your main domain, and then link back to your main domain. I particularily prefer to focus in one domain in order not to split the popularity, but in your case it could make sense.
