I have a few blogs and don't have time to update myself. How do i make a blog automated to pull from other feeds? or other sites.

i know many sites do this. any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure, but I use rss feeds in a php script on some of my sites. I'm not sure if this is what you are after or not.

It takes the rss feeds of other sites and posts them on your site. The links are to the original site.

It doesn't make blog entries. I'm not sure how to do that sorry.

As in a scraper? I wouldn't reccomend it. While it's possible, the people you take the content from won't be too happy, also, if the site is bigger than yours you won't even get indexed since it will be duplicate content to Google. Overall a very bad plan, sell the site if you don't have time, or find someone else who doesn't mind posting.

As I said, the best way to do it would be to use a feed php script which links back to the original articles.

I think gregstrander makes a good point. If you are spitting back duplicate entries, you wouldn't end up much higher on Google's rankings, so what would be the point?

May be you could write articles in advance. Set a future date and wordpress will publish that article automatically.

Now where would you get the rss feed from? I am guessing that wont be from your own blog:)

You can write ALL the articles and then store them in a folder on your ftp. and then call it with a script for like random photo of the day. . . i have a random generator script that you can set monday this file tuesday this file and wednesday this file . . . i am sure you could use something like this for what you are trying to accomplish . . .

I use wp-o-matic. It's kinda buggy. But it does a decent job and it is free. If it doesn't auto update, I just have to run a web cron which takes like 5 seconds.
