Wow, I always see people making threads saying they recieved 450 clicks and got $50.00 or more. I have no idea what type of websites or niche get that much, but if I knew, I would gladly start. i've been using going for a year, and I haven't even gotten $100 yet. :S So my questions is, what websites or niches get a lot of clicks?
It's not the niche that gets high traffic, it's the website. Good ad placement + low bounce rates + high traffic = high clicks.
I've been using adsense for about a year now as well, I make about 2 cents a day. Pathetic. However I haven't made a huge effort at advertising either, all I've been doing is getting people to stumble my sites. If your wanting to make good money with the niche market, pick something your good at, buy a domain that is easy to remember and is right to the point concentrating on what it is your going to sell, come out with some sort of product or two - this can be anything from an ebook/audiostream to an actual item that you ship to them. Then write several pages about how your product works and how they could benefit from it, posting several testimonies. Then jump in on some ad network programs such as ValueClickMedia, Clicksor, Adsense, and regular link/banner exchanges... participating in everything from paid advertising to simple link exchanges with partnering sites, stumbleupon, digg, ect. This way you will have revenue income, and income from your product. (which varies to your niche of choice)
depends on the keywords too, high keywords pay more per click. I have a new niche since yesterday and it been making me around $1.20/click if you want deal with me so we can work something out pm me
Traffic + Ad placement + Trust = Clicks If folks trust your site and your content, they will be more likely to click an ad. Now for the hard part... how to get traffic. Well you need a site that provides something of high value and is unique. This is why it is so difficult to make money with ads online... Not everyone is cut out for it. What if everyone wanted to be a doctor because it pays well? I don't think everyone is cut out to be a doctor, many would never make it through the education program and fall off. The same happens here. Not everyone is making money... only those with the passion and talent for making things that folks find useful... and that is not something you can teach... (my opinion, of course). I spent 4 years building my sites up without making a cent... this was before Adsense even existed. You ask what does it take... that is what it takes... To do something without the drive for money is to do something out of passion or interest... which is when you find the formula that works.
good epc comes from quality traffic, good content, and a website that doesn't use dp scammer tactics to trick people into clicking on the ads.
I have only just started but I think lots of hard work is the key, you are not going to make money overnight which is what quite a lot of people think.
I just made a site for a friend, her second month ends now at the end of November, she's up to $200+ still waiting on her PIN no.(overseas) I'll be divulging a secret pretty soon
It is not easy to create a good website, i think the only formula is good and unique contents. You should do it not to the money but because you like to write about some subject..
I dont agree with that. low bounce rate is related to high click rate. its the opposite. Adsense click is counted as a part of the bounce rate. So if its too low, ur not getting any good CTR.
every body got their way to success with adsense. i hope i can find mine. can you guy help me find it?
There are less than 10 blogs in my niche and my blog is generating more than 12k pageviews/day, but I'm only getting $1-$3 a day from adsense even after two years trying... pathetic My CTR is around 2% - 4%, but the eCPM is pathetically low, I only get <$0.20 out of 10 clicks, only manage to get a few $0.20 per click once in a while. Any advice?
Also remember that some of the people saying they earned huge amounts in the last month or so are often lying, im not saying all of them, but you get what i mean... I dont think theres one specific solution, as people point out you definately need lots of good traffic, but its what people do on your site once they reach it.
I disagree. Your statements don't fall together. If you have higher bounce rate it can mean two things. Your site is crap. You have an ad optimized website and a high CTR.
Can anyone suggest how to improve the CTR? cos I only received a maximum of $0.30 per click for my site. I wonder how people are getting $10 per day just for a website. Has that got to do with niche or topic choosen?
