how do you add meta description to each article?

Hi, it's probably a silly question, but I don't know how to technically add a meta description to my articles. They are all indexed in google with the same meta description of the whole site and with ALL the keywords of the website, which is abusive and it's not good for the site neither.
Could anybody please just give me a technical clue as to where to go to add an individual description for each article?
    Thanks a lot

The meta description is in the <head> section of your html page. If you want to change it ou'll need to open the pages in a text editor, edit the description, then save and re-upload to your server.

Of course if you're using a CMS of some sort, then it might not be possible to change your description for each page.

yes, I'm using an admin and it's a nightmare. My freelance websmasters want me to be dependent on them forever and wouldn't tell me anything , that's why I wouldn't use their services again and I'm left on my own with the site :(

If you have only 100 pages, and u wont add another 1000, i suggest you to add a particular meta description and meta title for every page.
Take care about your meta keywords. I NEVER saw a meta keys so abusive!
And like a tip, try to validate your code.

thanks for your reply, Zippo, how did you get to see my website? While I was trying to edit my signature?
I know exactly what you mean by our keywords, I feel like deleting them completely... It makes me feel embarrassed.
I have just posted aproject on elance for someone to try and sort out our seo a little and I'll see what i can do further...
Thanks a lot for your input, I have no clue what validating a code means, but I'll do some research
