    If I want to add google sitemap I need to have something like mydomain.com/sitemap.xml I believe. (correct me if I'm wrong)

    how would I do that? (I'm going to get a programmer but I don't know what to say)

    Like is the .xml extension a page with my domains and its subdomains listed?

    What is it and how do you do it?

    Search Google for free sitemap generators, its much easier.

    You should also submit the sitemap @ Yahoo Site Explorer and Google Webmasters Tools.

    Peace,

    Is this for a wordpress blog? If so then search Google for "Google Sitemap Generator Plugin for WordPress by Arne Brachhold."

    I use it and it has a lot of really great features.

    Site map must include the heading like this below ...
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <urlset xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9">

    then include the pages you want in your site map like below between the url and loc tags.
    <url><loc>http://www.yoursitepage1</loc></url>
    <url><loc>http://www.yoursitepage2</loc></url>
    <url><loc>http://www.yoursitepage3</loc></url>

    then close it.
    </urlset>

    the code as one piece
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <urlset xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9">
    <url><loc>http://www.yoursitepage1</loc></url>
    <url><loc>http://www.yoursitepage2</loc></url>
    <url><loc>http://www.yoursitepage3</loc></url>
    </urlset>

    Save it as Sitemap.xml -- upload it to your server. -- use Google webmaster tools -- goto sitemap and submit it. <Blammy> just like that :) lol

    if you want to see other tags and examples type in your favorite website followed by Sitemap.xml
    example: www.yourfavoritesite.com/Sitemap.xml

    and you can see how they do theirs.
    Update: I just checked that link and there really is a site called yourfavoritesite.com wtf, strange and crazy :)
    But anyway.. that was only example, you can use any site to see their sitemap if they have one that way.
    sometimes check for little 's' there will be combinations of 'Sitemap.xml' and 'sitemap.xml'

    I'm getting the rep points for DP right? :)
