Hi everyone, I am trying to get my head around ecommerce. I would like to add a shop to my website. My website has millions of monthly readers from around the globe. What I want to do is use a ready shop thingy and add a shop/deals section to my website. I am looking for something like what StackCommerce offers, but an alternative solution. Additionally, I have seen website having an Amazon widget and I am trying to figure out how it works - I would like to speak to someone from Amazon before registering but there seems to be no such option.. Any feedback will be highly appreciated! Thanks a lot!
There are lots of eCommerce tools out there, but for starters you can try Paypal which provides free, easy to use, customizable shopping carts.
Some of the most popular ones are Shopify, volusion & yahoo store. personally I am migrating to shopify because they have a lot of riche features like variation & zooming.
