How do you achieve rank in Google Base?

Google is obsessed with the quality of it's organic results and Product Search is no exception. But how do you rank?

    Aside from the obvious:
    keyword research
    Google Base attributes
    Price
    Free Shipping
    No Sales Tax
    Google Checkout
    Location

    How about:
    Seller Rating?
    CTR
    Bounce Rate
    Load Time
Google Trust, Importance & Relevance Patents

And is it better to use the same Base Attributes as your competition so that you rank among your relevant price-comparison competitors, or to use unique feeds (varied titles, descriptions & attributes) so you can sell high?

Well, frankly nobody DOES know - Google don't say, so people make assumptions from their own experience- your 'obvious' points seem to pretty much cover it - of your other list 'seller rating' seems to be the other factor that counts

From what I've seen, Google seem to rank results in the following order:

1: Relevance of product to search term
    2: Reviews/rating of the shop
    3: Price of the product

If everything is identical about a product listing apart from price, Google will usually show the cheapest one first. Having said that, let's say one of the most expensive shops has good reviews and the other two don't then the most expensive one will be shown first.

This only applies if the default "Sort be relevance" is chosen.

Besides all of the good information already given, base works simalar to google search in that age is important, the longer your products on base the better chance one has in being on page one or shown in googles organic search results. So you post your products every month.

From my personal experience I made 2 changes on 2 of my products just as a test and it seemed to work.

Added detailed description for the product which got me in the top 3 then lowered the price by .40 from my competitors and it put me in #1 spot but this is just from my experience playing around with it.
