    Hi..
I have had a Web Development company and now im starting Software Development with ASP.NET and C# now :)

I already have recruited around 5 new experienced software developers now and I would like to get some new contracts or clients on this domain..
Whats the main trick to market or get such clients ?

    Any pointers would be nice..

    Start by giving,
I know that sounds like it might be a little counter-intuitive, but you have a newly formed company without a track record.

Go out and find someone who is influential in the marketplace, find a need they have and take care of it for them. Free of charge.

The idea is to get them a) hooked on your company and continue to use you, but paid and b) recommend your company to others.

If you don't like the idea of that, then go out and get a business to business sales person to help you get your first clients. Go for a commission only sales person, so you are not paying for work with no results.

    good luck

You can get client by going to freelance site to bid for project.
And since you're new,i would recommend you use lower price to compete with other.

Since you've already hired 5 employees, why not to hire a manager ( advertising, contracts, etc. ) ? :)

Hopefully, you're not paying your developers yet - I think the person above who mentioned the business plan has a very good point. You probably need to allocate some of your budget on advertising and generating client leads. You can investigate the usual sources like Adwords/PPC, freelance sites and so on. Best of luck.

You can do that, as well as offering some well known clients the opportunity to try out your work for free.

Obviously, yes, you'll lose money up front (technically), but you'll make a lot more down the road.

Get a business plan, hire a manager and see if a bigger local company can outsource some of their work to you. Elance, gaf are few other alternatives you can try bidding on.

Instead, you can start a small project and work on it with your team for a month or two - develop a software and market it. Give it as a freebie and see the success pouring in.
    All the best :)

Maybe try on the WF? Many of them have plenty of money to get software done.

    And they often sell software

or offer some decent marketer that you split the profits from the software.
