    Well the first thing you have to do is read, search and again read :p
    You should try to find the answers of getting top rankings first in google and then in this forum and I am sure you will find lots of different and innovative ideas as the answers you are looking for. ;)

    Google rank the pages 1-10 and to increase the page rank one can do the following :

    1.Links from related websites. Gaining links from related websites can be one of the most frustrating tasks you can attempt.
    2. Creating and publishing articles. Articles are an easy source of generating new traffic.
    3.Submit to search engine directories
    4. Back links are important here
    5.Forum joining and keep sharing information there

    You can increase your Google rankings by submitting articles to some of the top article directories, like Ezinearticles and Goarticles, since Google still respects these directories even after the Panda update
