How do we get some good high PR backlinks?

    I'd been searching for some good high PR backlinks, but the price for such is so high.

    Is anyone getting some high PR backlinks without paying for it!

    If you get to the mainpage of Digg, on the next PR update your submission will get a nice PR.
    For free links: comment on DoFollow blogs, submit to DoFollow social bookmarking sites, etc.

    With a great article or even a photo you can get to the mainpage of Digg even today :)
    But I agree... it's not that easy.

    Well, I did submit one article today, and it just got 5 diggs till now! But anyway, it does seem to be of some help as a traffic generator.

    yes, buying or subscribing to good PR links can be expensive. but as Zext suggested, you can comment on some relevant dofollow blogs and get some decent PR permanent backlinks.

    regarding being on Digg frontpage, just submitting an article isn't enough. it could be if the article is earthbreaking. otherwise, you will need a network of Diggers to get your article on the front page.

    I buy 3way links. I don't get much PR but I get several top ten rankings for targeted key phrases. It just seems so much easier and cost effective for me and my spare time...

    Dofollow blogs will eventually becomes nofollow and is totally at the mercy of the blog owners. I wonder if this will still work in the long run ...

    I think you should forget about page rank and build high quality backlinks through article
    submission, directory submission, blog posting, and press release distribution if you build
    enough high quality backlinks the pr on many of the pages you have backlinks on will
    improve over time which will ultimately improve your page rank.

    Concentrate on quality back links that are in sync with teh content of your site and theme ..over a period of time you ll get high PR
