I hope some of you guys can help me answer this: Do most US schools have their own internet connection or do they have it proved for them by the state office of education or local government office? On the website for the Los Angeles county office of education it states: Does ISP connectivity mean they supply the internet connection for all schools in LA?
i think the school's computers department has the ability to choose their isp. at the end of the day it is just another department with its own yearly budget, how they spend that budget and on what services is normally down the the department and the needs of the children set out by the government.
