im a total beginner at this. i recently purchase a domain and their service at dreamhost.com i got my website up and runnin and also register a personalized email adress myname@mydomain.com but how do i actually use that email adress? do i have my own personal mailbox @mydomain.com?
where did you register your email address... usually you do it through your host and your host has a special portal for you to access it such as webmail.xxx.com You can also set up access through Microsoft Outlook by using xxx.com as name of incoming and outcomign servers.
All that stuff is in your hostingpanel, just post the name of your panel, and people will post exact way to do it. And btw mail server will be like mail.domain.com, and you can set your mail id as mail box or mail forwarding, you can set it to catch all too, just tell me the name, and i'll provide you with more info.
