Has anyone done any sort of study on how different themes affect their blog marketing and income? I have been thinking about changing themes on my digital photography weblog (http://www.freneticphoto.com) to see if that changes my CTR (which is virtually nil at the moment). Unfortunately, I have a ton of customizations to my theme so changing themes might be a lot of work. Has anyone else experienced a significant change when marketing their site depending on the them they use? I dont think that a different theme would have any impact. Your blog is pretty clean and well spaced. It would be better to focus on building well placed links and experimenting with different advert placing / colours / networks. I have a similar issue at the moment. I'm building up www.thepaulfisherblog.com and have customised the design so heavily it would be a huge amount of work to replace it entirely. I'm in the process of testing out various advertisers right now.
