I'm setting up the floor plan to start an incentive freebie site (not iPods), but I have just one problem, and that's finding offers that pay out enough so that I can afford to give away the free gifts AND profit myself. I'm seeing incentive sites give away like $160 just for completing one offer like Blockbuster and then referring only TWO people. That means you would have to make at least $60 off of the member (from doing just one offer) plus their two friends for you to make just a $20 profit after paying the person the $160. What affiliate offers pay out $60? Blockbuster sure doesn't! I also seen some offers that don't even cost anything. How are these incentive sites doing this? What networks should I consider? Thanks
Its pretty complicated, actually. I have a freebie site which is still in the works and it has been one hell of a pain. It is costing me a lot of time and money but it will pay off You would be better off not starting up a freebie site, since it would be easier for competition
Freebie sites can be really profitable, however you need lots of traffic because most people think its a scam etc. As for finding offers, look on CJ they have quite a few good paying offers. You also need to think about how many friends your members have to refer. If you get paid say $10 for a blockbuster referral and each friend needs to refer 5 people, that is $60 for 1 ipod (probably get a shuffle for sub $50). Then the 5 who got refferred are likely to refer friends and your cycle can grow virally, however for that to work you need to strike the balance between payed/free offers and the number of people you need to refer. Some people will prefer 1 expensive offer and 1 friend others, 1 free offer and 5 friends. Or even 5 free offers 2 friends.
You have to invest before you can start seeing result. But, those sites do make very good money if marketed properly and the webmaster is willing to put in the work.
Really? their is a site which only needs 2 referrals, It is probaly a scam because most sites require 5-10 referrals!
I have been in the incentive industry for 3 years now and run many successful companies. It's all about building a bond with your affiliates and bringing them traffic. Many of the street payouts they offer you can be increased up to 20%-50%. Contact me if you need any help setting up, I will try my best to help you.
