How do Tech Blogs have good SEO?

    Of course Tech Blogs is just an example but how can a blog like a tech blog focus on only a few keywords when there is such a vast range of tech topics. or do you do it on a page based scale not a site based scale?

    Im very new to SEO and am in the process of teaching myself. I hope the question is clear lol.

    look for the best keywords that best fits your blog and do some link building. look for quality backlinks and in time, your blog will gradually increase its SE rankings. =)

    yeah but soemthign like a tech blog could have about 100 different possible keywords so how do they put a small range of keywords in their content?

    When you tend to rank very well for a couple of high quality keywords, you automatically tend to rank well for other keywords because you site is considered an authority on the subject by Google. That is what happens in the case of most of the big ones

    so if the kewyords you rank well for are not on the index page will you lose SE rankings?
