I already know how to start an affiliate program for single products. But how do you start an affiliate program if you have a web store with lots of products? I know companies like Commission Junction will not accept you unless you meet their standards. Any other alternatives that ANYONE can use?
What about ShareASale? I've given you a link to some quick information to what they offer. With ShareASale and a few other Affiliate Networks you are allowed to offer your affiliates a datafeed so that they can easily grab your database and build a site from it or use the data in their price comparison sites, etc. I use to use datafeeds as an affiliate on my price comparison before closing it down. I got a good few sales that way and instead of your affiliates going about promoting just the 1 product or your site with one banner, they will have pages of your products, which would mean more exposure for you and most probably many more sales.
Yes I would also recommend Shareasale. Or you could have an inhouse affiliate tracking program built for your site in php for 1-2k.
Most tracking systems and networks handle multiple products. It gets tricky with recurring billing for membership applications.
I would not recomment shareasale, I did not work with them as affiliate, only as publisher, but I suspect they have problems tracking some orders.
