Hello guys, I am considering buying a .eu.com domain and I was wondering how search engines (especially Google) treat such domains in comparison to top-level domains. Any help on this would be deeply appreciated. Thanks, -WebB3
I try to avoid .eu domains as much as possible. It's much easier to rank with .com .net or .org domains believe me. Sometimes I see people selling .eu domains because they just can't make them to rank high enough.
I am aware of that, however the domain ends in .com, yet it is .eu.com. My question is what take do search engines have on the specified suffix. Do they consider it a subdomain of eu.com? Do they consider it as a .com domain or a .eu domain? What will be the difference between [domain].eu.com and [domain]eu.com to the search engines? Do search engines apply geo-targeting specifically to .eu.com domains? Thanks, WebB3
