How do parked domains get traffic?

Can I somehow promote/advertise my parked domains in order to get HIGH traffic?

Parked domains mainly get type in traffic. Most domain parking programs don't let you advertise parked domains. Ask before you try it.

 

Yes, the main source of traffic is type on traffic.

 

my old WoW guild site gets good traffic still but the guild disbanded. so I parked the site and the traffic still goes there. Now I get a little revenue from the site.

play lots of games about traffic.some don't even want links to the domain!.however, contrary to what many people think they pay similar ppc to adsence depending.What i like is it diversifies your income from google and there unpredictable policies and ppc rates.The worst the parking company can do is kick you out and you can try another ,when google has a problem it's hard to replace them.A great parking alternative is the one in my sig cause you can run any adsence,or affiliate including porn and you can buy traffic if you want(if your affiliate ads allow it).makes me money every day

People get traffic from type in traffic or they could advertise the domain name or they could have bought expired domains that still have links on many of websites on the web.

 

old guild websites still get TONS of traffic, was in a guild that disbanded and had a hosting packaged for 12 months that had just been renewed, the site was taken down and it still got a good 300+ unique hits a week
