How can they do it for so cheap when you need to pay to log your site on most of them? some do 200 sites for $30 but its a few dollars per site to do it manually?

IBP helps a lot too - they can let you upload a list of your own directories

You have to understand that most manual directory submission services only submit to 'free' directories. There are some that will make the process for submitting to pay for review directories, but most services you see on this forum are talking about submitting to free directories. They are charging for their time and not for directory's review fee.

Manual directory submission services will submit your site to 200 free directories, for example. But they can't guarantee that your site will be included in all this directories.
