how do I add analytics to a wordpress.com blog?

I have analytics on my self-hosted blog, but wordpress.com ... how?

I can't see any way to upload a plugin and analytics isnt included in the widgets. Maybe I'm just blind?

 

Sorry, I never used wordpress.com lol... but anyway, you can just include the analytics code in the header section of your theme if you can edit it. I would tell you to use the google analytics plugin but I guess wordpress.com dont let you do that... Not sure though... like I said, never used it.

 

Wordpress.com does'nt allow U to add plugins.

Go to the Theme Editor page in your control panel; and add the code just before the /body tag in your theme's footer.php

 

no can do.. its a wordpress hosted blog with a free theme, can't edit virtually anything..

 

Ok, didn't know a Wordpress hosted blog limited you like that.
There must be a way though...
