On a PC, if you exchange Word for Open Office Writer. You can write the ebook and click the little PDF icon on the toolbar and it will export it as a PDF. So no need to buy a Mac to accomplish a simple task. Further, if you go to insert>hyperlinks from the toolbar you can insert weblinks. So when you make your fortune from ebooks, share the wealth with the openoffice development team. And there could be your first topic, how OpenOffice saved you from buying a Mac and Adobe Acrobat !
