How do I write an eBook? Need a little help.

    HI guys,

    Im thinking of writing an eBook, but have abslutly no idea how to do it. I know what I am going to put in it content wise, but how do I write it?

    Do I write it in word then eBookiefy it, or what?

    Basically, how do I do it?

    You could write it in Adobe Acrobat Pro And Make A PDF Out of it.

    for free: you can use open office. there's a button on top that will convert your finished writing to pdf and it works GREAT.

    also you could install CUTE PDF and use microsoft word. :D

    You can also write in Word and then convert the .doc (word file) file in to .pdf (adobe acrobat) file. You can search google by "doc2pdf converter" and you will get several results of products both free and paid.

    I use a product called ebookcompiler for mine which is a very low cost with a free trial version that you can check out. It enables you to develop ebooks with inbuilt password security and has an inbuilt scripting language.

    The only downside is that it produces a Windows executable file and will not run on a Mac.

    CutePDFWriter is free and works well for me. It just installs like another printer and you select that under print as normal, all your formatting and stuff will stay exactly as you have it in whatever program you are creating your book in.

    I use open office as its free and it has got an inbuilt Pdf converter and you can save your document as PDF in a single click.

    DocB, I had that as someone else mentioned it, but what does it do?

    I uninstalled it as thought it actually printed it.
