How do I use Craigslist to market my website?

I put an item on craigslist and had a link to my website. It got flagged and pulled. How do you use Craigslist to get traffic?

 

You have to know what category to post in. Here is some advice. Get phone verified if you havent already. Then depending on your product, or service find the right category. Try starting with Small Biz Ads. Then wait to see if it gets flagged, if it does, then post and ad in another category. Good Luck

I wouldn't post a direct link to your product on CL, but I would come up with an ad that generates interest and curosity instead. When your prospect emails you, send them one back with specifics and a link to your product.

You are going to get flagged though, that's just life on CL. Repost and you should be good to go.

 

You can use some various techniques as to promoting a particular product or offering a service to trade with other people in craigslist.

This can make you maintain your listings and not get it removed.
