I have content sites, blogs. Do I put up CJ banners or make seperate affiliate shops and point my readers to those shops? I am a noob to affiliate marketing. I am new here so here are my dead links. http://SECFootballBlogger.com http://SportsBlogBucks.com and my newest one that is going to have content and a new banner shortly http://NESWSports.com any advice would be great. Thank you very much!
i have had little success with banners, text links embedded in your content have worked best for me. others may have other ideas. you could also put in a popshops page linked back to your main theme/content. popshops.com goodluck
Banners don't work very well in my experience... However, sidebar advertisements and contextually place text based affiliate ads convert much better. Best of luck.
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=766493 it's a program I wrote and if you put that up all you do is type in the keywords for products you are looking for like in your case +SEC +football and it will show about 620 products you can pull into your wordpress site in any way you like. Making a seperate category called shop fi and subcategories per Team..just some ideas.
Banners don't work product does. I would add content via using popshops. They are the best wat to add content to a site of blog which then links to your CJ account. Great program by the way. Check them out. Good luck
i have quite a few sites, some informational some "shops", some a mixture of both, all in totally different niches, so I don't really know how to answer such a broad question with any meaningful answer. I have context/text links on all of my sites ranging from ebay sign ups to hiking boots.
Is there anything similar to Popshops for UK publishers? At the moment I just put HTML links on the site but it's very tedious.
