How do I update the Google Cache?

    Google is showing me old chache page for site:domain.com
    It is showing the pages of 18 Jul 2005 19:51:12 GMT.

    How do I update these pages? These pages are not exists at all. But same query brings new pages in yahoo.

    Help me to update these pages.

    just redirect them, and it will pick up your redirected page during the next crawl.

    How to redirect pages that are don´t exist anymore?

    Make sure you setup a 404 page so when a spider or user requests the old pages they are told they dont exist. You can than either place a link to the homepage or automatically 301 redirect the spider or user to the homepage.

    Usually not setting up a proper 404 will create such errors. I've seen this happen alot with shopping cart software. A user requests a page and the software will show a "We couldn't find this page but here is something you might be interested in" without passing a 404. Can be a pain in the butt if you add and remove alot of products frequently.

    Not necessarily. If there are links pointing to the URL and the URL doesnt return a 404 Google will still index the URL. So just adding more links to dead URLs isn't going to help considering that's how they got in the index and are staying in the index to begin with.

    hmmmm I don't understand what you just said.. :p I was thinking that if you want a new cache, you just have to wait for google to come and index your new pages.
