I am currently getting around 1000 unique visits a day to my blog, generally to one very popular post and mostly originating from StumbleUpon. My blog is Webmaster and SEO centric. I have tried AdSense (very low earning), directory affiliates (good click thru, no signups) and a few other things (currently promoting those Free Wii sites), but none of them are really generating any kind of significant revenue. Can anyone suggest a good revenue generation scheme that would suit my site and it's visitors? Many thanks in advance!
There's two things. First StumbleUpon traffic usually don't click. It might be better to try and get more search engine traffic. Having said that, the target audience for a Webmaster and SEO blog is quite computer savvy and tend not to click on ads.
Google adsense and stumbleupon could be a better idea. It is important to have good content so as the user will click it. Link exchange, social bookmarking ,social communities, and blog affiliates could be the possible way to generate revenue for a site.
Have you put your ads in the right way?You can sell your traffic, use google to search a site is easy.

I suggest AdSense. "SEO keywords" are very expensive. Read more info from help treads for AdSense and you will succeed
If you think u have consistent traffic, then you can try get sponsor ads. You can use text links. They will generate a fix monthly revenue.
This is a good advice, and i am also working with this, we have increased our revenue by 10% in last 2 months.
