how do i transfer a Private Registered Domain to another registrar?

Hi,

i have a domain on Godaddy which is Private Domain Registered. how do i transfer it to Register.com ?

Register.com would not be able to send e-mail on the Administrative Contact on my domain since it is private registration.

Remove the privacy and then transfer it

 

so i need to remove the privacy protection first before i can initiate any transfer right ?

not needed if they forward the mails to your email account ( if the emails are not forwarded then u need to remove privacy first , unlock domain and initiate transfer )
