How do I transfer a domain on Godaddy?

Hi there guys, I'm going to sell my site on DP but before i do i need to know how to transfer the domain and site? I have searched the forum but the search results arnt relevant.

So how do I transfer a domain to someone else using Godaddy?
Do i have to pay to transfer a domain?

your best bet is just push it to their godaddy account. they buy the domain, u push it to them for free. u can do this from within your control panel.

 

Please could you give me instructions as I dont know how!

Also will my details be revealed as currently Im using a WHOIS block, when I transfer the site and the WHOIS block gets taken of will my details be revealed?

Just the person you are selling to for his/her GoDaddy Customer id & email.
From Your domain manager in godaddy Select Account Change>Choose Option corresponding to the Cust id & email . Click Ok .Agree to the 60 day agreement ant its done.

Now only other person has to accept it in their godaddy account

And GoDaddy to GoDaddy transfer is FREE and takes only a few minutes to do.

 

You can push a domain from one godaddy account to another godaddy account. There is not fee for domain pushing.
