How Do I track source of sales?

I would like to know how to track source of sales.

I set up a goal. I think the answer is there?

I am not seeing where my buyers came from.

Of course, this would help me to know where to spend my time.

    Thanks!

    Sales analytics?

    How? You mean eCommerce?

I've never seen that term in GA.

Directly you can check your main buy now or product pages navigation summary. You can see the the from where all the visitors coming all refering sites and referring search engines.

You set up a goal on a confirmation page that they only reach if they purchased something, right? So every goal means a sale was completed. Go into Custom Reports and pick Goal 1 Completions from the metric box on the left and pull it into the first metric box. Then look in the green Dimensions box on the left, under Traffic Sources. Pull whatever data field you want into the first Dimension field in the middle of the screen. Source/Medium is a good one. It will show you results like Google/cpc or Bing/organic or Direct. Preview the report to see if it give you the info you're looking for.
