    easy, after logging in at godaddy click on hosting - my hosting accounts, then at the top menu click "nameservers", click on the name servers for the domain you want to change and choose custom nameservers, then fill in the nameservers which you got for the host you want to use.

    Are you trying to switch hosting to or from godaddy?

    You only have to update the nameservers to whatever host you are switching to.

    First you need to purchase a plan at an alternative host, when you do you will get given name servers, they will look something like;
    ns1.hostname.com
    ns2.hostname.com

    Then login to godaddy and click manage domains,
    Tick the box beside the domain > click the nameservers tab at the top of the page then a new box will open with in that page.

    Now you should see a tab called custom nameservers, click that and put in your name servers and click ok (yes it is that simple)

    Now its a matter of waiting for the dns (domain name servers) to resolve, times varey, how ever if yo have a .com or .net it happens more often then not with in 30 mins, .org's ive known take over 24 hours.

    Hope that helps ^

    Just change the DNS (Domain name servers) of your domain name to the DNS of your new host and then re-upload all your files again to the new hosting companys server.

    This is what happened... I purchased estuds.info from someone and the name servers have a dave in them. I got a free hosting credit from godaddy. When I try to view estuds.info I can't get a page to show up. What do I change the servers too? And or what do I do?

    You have to access the registration account for that domain and change the nameservers to godaddy
