How do I submit my site to Google and other search engines for free?

I hope I posted this in the correct forum.

I would like to submit my blog to search engines such as Google, MSN, and Yahoo but I would like to know if it can be done for free. There's no use in paying for it if it can be done for free. Does anyone know where/how I can do that? It would be much appreciated!

My blog is melbelshebel.blogspot.com if that helps... it's hosted by google.

 

If you have links to your site on pages that are crawled, there is no reason to submit.

 

try also bookmark sites

 

You can link to your site in your DP signature and write here more often, then you are all set.
Also all of those search engines have a form for submitting your URL to them, for example: http://www.google.com/addurl/ for Google.

You can add your new sites here , however blogs are automatically indexed by google.

i have not used this but someone told me that it is useful..hope it serves ur purpose

 

some people say you should n't summit. rather get good links and it will do it for you.
