this might come as a shock to some people but there are millions of intelligent people who have never owned or even wanted to own a website, blog or web page that generates profit. There life has been full enough. Without that desire its quite easy to know nothing of adsense.
Congratulations! We are at the same situation. i too have a 5 month old son.. we are stay at home husband and wife.. my wife takes care of the baby and i work as a freelance computer programmer. I recommend putting up your personal blog then start writing articles at ezinearticles.com to drive traffic to your blog. once you get enough traffic you could put up adsense or posting affiliate links in it. I hear that reviewing products (ones that you can find an affiliate link for) and linking to them with an affiliate program id (this means the affiliate program tracks that the link came through your site and you get paid) pays well for some people. BUt like everyone else is saying you are going to have to get traffic that buys stuff online. uhhhhhh you could put your child to work in an illegal surf and click program? write about raising a child, making articles little sub sections of your very own future ebook. that would take a little bit of preplanning but you could say write some articles and then sell an ebook on your site with little extras, all laid out nice, etc i dunno. a few suggestions there you go... I feel bad for laughing earlier.
However, you will agree that marketing and selling an ebook is quite hard. Without spending money on advertising, you can sell only an odd hundred of ebooks. It is not a great deal of money anyway.
I would start a blog right away if you want to start earning money from the blog. Your own personal domain is better than blogger or wordpress-- servers. People tend to take more seriously personal domains. I have a list of services that allow you to earn through article postings-- see here. Q...
