How do I start a Forum where I can Pay for activities to attract traffic.

I have an idea to start a forum on it. Which is best free/paid forum CMS for that?

Moreover how can I add "pay for activities" feature in it?

Suggestions and working ideas are invited.

 

I would use SMF as a free forum and Vbulletin as a paid one.

 

ooked into this a few months ago for a project. The problem is that most of the free fora you can install through your hosting control panel don't allow the paid features. I found that the scripts you can didn't really have the necessary flexibility to do what I wanted so in the end I put it on eLance and the quotes were sufficiently expensive I put the project on the back burner.

So, I'd eLance it and see what you get back.
