How do I set up an e-mail account through Hostgator that uses my domain?

Not sure if this is the best section for this question, but I could not find another one that worked any better. I am sure this is easy to do, but for whatever reason, I am not getting it. I use Hostgator for my hosting, and want to set up an e-mail account that uses my domain in it, i.e. . I would prefer to send the messages from my main Yahoo or Gmail account if possible. How do I go about doing this?

Thank you for the recommendation, but I do know how to do that part. I guess my main question is this: Is there a way to use Gmail or Yahoo e-mail to send out mail using my domain for the e-mail address, or do I have to use Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.?
