How do I set up a domain once purchased?? +Rep

    Have you got any web space with your domain name? If not, get some.
    Personally I prefer to keep domain name and web servers with separate companies, so keep your domain name with whom you registered it and then o point your domain name's name servers to those of your web host (e.g. ns1.host.blah, ns2.host.blah - your server host should be able to provide you with these) You should be able to do this from your domain name host's control panel.

    In blogger's dashboard visit the "publishing" tab and select to publish to your blog via ftp... then you just need to enter your ftp details etc and the blog will then publish to your web server and be viewable at your new domain :)

    The risk of doing what they have done is being hit by search engines for duplicate content.

    Lever's comments on changing the nameservers is the normal way to handle domains
