I recently bought a domain name. I currently have http://melbelshebel.blogspot.com and I want to make it look exactly as it does now (in the blogger format and everything) but just with a different url. For example, this blog http://turnonepoundintoonemillion.com has done it and if you go to http://turnonepoundintoonemillion.blogspot.com it's all still there too. How do I do that? I'm sorry I'm such an idiot. +Rep to whoever can help me.
Have you got any web space with your domain name? If not, get some. Personally I prefer to keep domain name and web servers with separate companies, so keep your domain name with whom you registered it and then o point your domain name's name servers to those of your web host (e.g. ns1.host.blah, ns2.host.blah - your server host should be able to provide you with these) You should be able to do this from your domain name host's control panel. In blogger's dashboard visit the "publishing" tab and select to publish to your blog via ftp... then you just need to enter your ftp details etc and the blog will then publish to your web server and be viewable at your new domain
The risk of doing what they have done is being hit by search engines for duplicate content. Lever's comments on changing the nameservers is the normal way to handle domains
