How do i set permission of my wp theme to get update directly from WP admin?

    I want to know the exact tips on how to update the file theme in wp directly without needing to set 777 permission in file manager, i am not sure on how to do it but i have used it before just this time, i setup a new blog and i seem confuse on what i need to get it have the update file directly in WP. Now it does not show the "Update File"
