Try Email Sender Deluxe software or Mailchimp

Use Bcc, it means blind carbon copy, this way the recipent thinks it's only to them.

Another vote for Mailchimp, or you could use their other slimmed down newsletter app at tinyletter.com

With these services you can easily import your email list which you will have already exported from gmail.

To do it, simply add the recipient Email Id's on "BCC" and don't add recipients in To or CC. In To: field add your email itself. So, that all recipients can just see your your email ID and not others.

If you want to send to a group without all the addresses being shown to each recipient, open the Address Book and make a new entry. Enter the group name in the Display field, but use your address. (Some ISPs require a legitimate address in the To line, and the recipients will know it is from the group).
Click the To button | Enter the group name using your address in the To field | Enter the Group in the BCC field.
