How do I send a fax to the USA..

    .. from where I stand now (that's in front of my PC)

    I have a small problem. I need to send some documents by fax to 2checkout for some verification issue. And - as you may have noticed - I live in Romania. Is there an online service that I could use? I've googled it but had no luck. I've got no fax machine at home and tomorrow seems a bit too far away right now. Heck, I'd pay $5 if someone in the States could do it for me. Someone reliable, of course. I'll just scan the docs and send them over to you. I can pay only by card/moneybookers :)

    Mihai, i'll sort it out for ya you should have my email. Won't it look suss though that the fax would be coming from Australia when your based in Romania?

    Bah! Don't know why "big" companies still uses fax, it's so "outdated" :D
    Anyways I also don't have a fax machine but I can send fax via my dial up modem using a software called FaxTalk Communicator, it can also receive faxes. Maybe you can try that.

    I found this when I googled pc to fax software, you can have a look. Hope it helps :)

    I could fax it for you since i have a eFax (eFax.com) account. Or you could register an account for yourself.

    Here's what i use alot. They have a form enabling sending of free faxes, world coverage is a bit patchy, but looks like most of the US is covered. The link is: http://www.tpc.int/

    I love my fax client which integrates with everything. I hate using paper! Online faxing is the way to go! I even hate printing stuff. But sometimes it is necessary.
