How do I sell a domain name?

I have a domain name with namecheap.com that I wish to sell to someone. How do I do that?

I sold one of my domains on sedo. Even selling a domain name onsedo is not easy. You might need to feature the domain name (about $40/mo.) otherwise you may spend several months just waiting for someone to stumble upon you domain.

So before I go to sedo I'd try the sale section on this forum or other forums like sitepoint.com or namepros.com

Just remember before you list your domain for sale you need to know the value of the name so you know how much you can ask for it. That way you will avoid overpricing it or getting ripped off by selling it too cheap.

I've just read you post again and realized I might have misunderstood your question.

Do you already have someone who wants to buy it from you or you just want to put on the market?

 

Selling domains is possible through e-bay.may people doing that and they say it is comparitively easy
