i got some domains registered at godaddy that i want to sell, but i dont know how to go about it.

what is the procedure ? if i sell the domain, will the whois info still show my name and address ? do i get charged extra fees for giving my domain name to somebody else ?

    Thanks in advance.

if you want to sell it you can check the buy/sell section on DP.
you usually don't have to pay anything. you need to transfer it to the buyer's account and this way buyer usually needs to pay for 1 year registration!
and for the whois part i think it'll be changed but to make sure you can modify the data and then transfer it!

The WhoIs gets changed to the new owner's information.

You don't get charged for transferring it.

???? didnt know that ! i have a domain name just 10 days old, so if i sell my domain name, and transfer it to another account, will the buyer have to pay for the registration too ?
Will i get my registration money back ? This sounds too confusing !!

you got me wrong. if you're domain is registered till 2008(for example) and you transfer it, the buyer will pay for 1 year registration fee and this way the domain will be valid till 2009.
and this is if you transfer between 2 different registrars. if you both have accounts with the same registrar, the buyer might not have to pay for an extra year but this depends on the registrar and their policies!

as i said that depends on the registrar and their policies. i use onlinenic and they charge for the extra year no matter the buyer has an account on their site or not. you need to check godaddy's FAQs to see if they charge anything or not but it think i read in this forum that godaddy offers free push on transfers between their accounts.
there must be a "domain transfer" section or something like that.

Godaddy.com > My Account > Manage Domains > Click on the domain which you want to transfer > Account Change > Enter the details of the buyer.

Buyer will get an email which will list the procedure to transfer the domain to his/her godaddy account.

There are no extra fees for the buyer and you won't get any refund.

The payment is between you and the BUYER.
If you have xxxx.com for which buyer is willing to pay 100000 DOllars, he pays that amount to you , and you transfer the domain to his name by going to:

Godaddy.com > My Account > Manage Domains > Click on the domain which you want to transfer > Account Change > Enter the details of the buyer. as SLM said.

From next year Buyer only pays yearly registration of 9.XX dollars :)

The high price is only between individual buyers and sellers..

In godaddy, buyer only ned to pay when renewal comes due.. ie next year.. Not now.. and you can only transfer to godaddy I guess.. It has a 2 month lock-in or something..

    I recently bought 3 domains.
