How do I see how many backlinks I have?

Recently I purchased 107 backlinks from a member on DP.

It's been about 1 week now. How long before I can see the backlinks. As well, where do I go to see the backlinks?

for checking back links for your domain use

    link:http://www.domain name ... or "www. domianmanr.com"

google will show less back links while u search by link:.... so use "...." for google
and in msn yahoo u can see back links bye using link:..... it will show good result.
google will take more time to consider back links where as yahoo and msn will consider early.

pm me if u have any query..

yeah, thats the best method, which shows 97% of all links, personally this tool is definately one of the best. Also http://backlinkwatch.com/ created by DP member Mong is also a great tool :)

It doesn't show 97%, not even close

The submit express link popularity tool adds all the links it finds in Google, Yahoo and MSN which is not accurate

your best bet is to use yahoo

link:www.yourdomain.com to see links coming into your homepage and any other page you choose

linkdomain:www.yoursite.com to see all links coming into your website's pages

Yahoo is the best option. Its less of a hassle since Google requires you to verify your site but only gives you about the same info as yahoo does.

Gorilla Bob asked a good question. How long after you get the link submission confirmations should they show up in the various backlink checkers?

About a month ago I bought 500 links from a members website. I received a TON of successful submissions.

    Hello,

Their are lots of tools available on internet you can use any one or you can directly check with search engine. You can Type "Link:domainName" in following search engine :

    1) google.com
    2) yahoo.com
    3) MSN.com

So is it accurate to use the tools, or is it best to just use a search engine? (IE: link:domain)

Sorry, but the topic is filled with mixed thoughts.

For quick checks I go to marketleap.com which is free AND keeps your history. For Google deep checking I use the tool that can be found in their webmaster tools area. This seems to show you all links Google is aware of but doesn't tell you whether the links count from a PR and rankings perspective.
