How do I save email addresses to a text file?

Is there a simple way to allow my visitors to enter their email address in a form, hit OK, and then send them to a confirmation page?

I need to log email addresses of my visitors and cant seem to figure it out. Being able to send a short email to the user right away would be a nice extra feature but not absolutely needed.

    Thanks

Thanks for the offer but Im not looking to spend $75 to get this done.

Ive found tons of free scripts to do this on the web, but they seem to do too much. My needs are simple so Im just looking to see if anyone has done this and what methods they have used.

For a free solution, I've used PHPList.

My needs have grown beyond PHPList and I now use Aweber, which is non-free.
