I found a bunch of midi songs i want to download and have. But quicktime will only allow me to do that if i buy the pro version. There has to be another way.

an example of what i want is this link (you need quicktime to play it)

    http://mansonusa.com/media/midi/hw/thenobodies.mid

I want to rip that. and many many many others.

    help?

You could have always just saved the *.mid and played it through a good quality software sound module (and saved the wav).

that was my issue. the only right click options i had were quicktime. And i couldnt view source, which was obivious anyway. It was probably a matter of poking around with my creative soundcard for some options.

So, i just upgraded to qucktime pro and right clicked and saved as source. Then, WMP 10 decided it didnt want to play midi. so a quick upgrade to WMP 11 fixed that problem.
