How do I report a scammer? Because some dude here on DigitalPoint named friendlyguy (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=181824) offered me an advertising deal, I agreed because the deal was great ($2.5/CPM). I got rid of him because his popups are full of hardcore porn and viruses that installs something on visitor's computer and froze their system. Before I got rid of him, I earned $185, since I don't have paypal that time, I had the funds sent to my friend's paypal account last Octber 15, 2008. Now that is christmas friendlyguy filed a buyer dispute and it froze my friend's paypal funds. I have proof of the dispute and some email screenshots that the payment was authorized by him. I can't believe this is happening on Christmas Day. Thanks people..

send the proof to paypal officials.. and start a dialogue with them plus this thread in the wrong section. I request moderators to move it to suitable section.

I just don't know where to place this kind of topic because I can't see now helpdesk thread in here. Hope admin will move this to the correct section. I'm really feeling furious now, $185 is not a joke, its like 3months salary of a working student like me. Thanks..

Sorry to hear that. What sites does he own? There are things that can be done once we establish true ownership/legal name

The problem is the only proof I have is an email from him that he is authorizing the payment by sending it to me. And a screenshot of the stats to prove that I'm working for the advertiser. I don't have no proof of shipping and stuff that is stated on paypal. The advertiser doesn't own a site, he is like a broker for popunder.ru or lets just say a popunder.ru member and rips other people off by offering $2.5/CPM. Popunder.ru offers $7/CPM.

The email that he uses to communicate with me is , and when its time for payments, he send it to me by using this paypal email with the name John Robinson. His popunder.ru username is friendlyguy too. I think he scammed other people too, here is his thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1016120
