As the title says, i have to add /joomla at the end of my domain name in order to see my website.
    something like,

    http://www.example.com/joomla

And i want it to be

    http://www.example.com

Any suggestions as to how i can do this, without re-installing ??

You could put a redirect on your domain.

The more simple way is to just move all the content from your joomla folder to the root of your site , no reinstalltion needed.

Best way is to move every everything in your joomla folder to your root. Where the example.com files are. I think using htaccess is not the best solution, but that is just my liking.

You may have to change your tmp and log path of joomla else you will can't install new extensions at least thats what i have sometimes when i switch my joomla files to other folders.

best is not to use joomla but wordpress instead, it is much easier to use and install, joomla is just way to fussy to get up and running quickly

whats wrong with using a real CMS like joomla ?

wordpress is for illiterate bloggers who can't even spell
    their mySQL db name.

go buy a Macbook, so you'll have just one mouse button,
you never know, with two buttons you could get confused
and scream it's too difficult to get by...

Heh, joomla is for noobs for starters.

I am not even going to touch your wordpress comment because its utterly ridiculous.

khmohsin is correct. You just need to move it and change the base url a few places and your all set.

Move your joomla install into the root of your public_html directory

joomla works in ANY directory as long as you change the URLs
    in the configuration.php

you can move in root or wherever else.
