    I've tried so much but was never able to find a solution to this problem...it has just gotten so frustrating because I tried googling this problem and spent countless amount of times on the analytics website trying to figure out...

    how do you remove an unused site from the Analytics site list?? :confused:

    i think if you remove the code from the site.. you delete it..

    No, if you remove the code, it just shows no traffic

    but the site is still listed in the stupid site list...I have 100+ sites so it's getting really annoying cuz most of them are not even in use

    there is web site list when you login your analitics account.

    you will see adit and delete links web you login your analitics account

    But the "delete" is not a link tho...it is just text

    Sorry what I meant to ask was how do you remove an analytics account? (not site)

    I just did this yesterday. You need to email google with the account number of the account you want to delete. Below is the official statement in their help. They deleted the account I wanted them to the next business day.
