Today when I signed into my articlebase account there I found 75 usd coupon. I had an inactive adwords acct with some -23 credit. Can I simply go there and try to redeem it. If I do so, Will Google not ask me for new funding option like credit card info? Will Google take the 75 deduct the 23 and count the remaining balance for advertising? My fear is that it will take the coupon and still ask me for credit card info which I can not do it this time. What is your experience?
The voucher code which you must have got must have terms attached to it, like any other Adwords voucher. These are - Adwords vouchers can be used on new accounts only, that are 14 days old or less. Also, only one coupon per account is allowed. For each account, Google would ask you to keep a Credit Card on file. The CC must be unique, i.e. never used on another Google Adwords account before. (even if you use voucher, it needs Credit Card for account verification, and for charging the account setup fee) Regards, Azkaban
Just setup a new account under a different email address, credit card, redeem the voucher, and start your campaigns. If the old account is really toast, then it shouldn't be a huge deal.
You may need to use a proxy to change your IP address or they'll shut the account down shortly after.
