How do i record HD content via my webcam?

    I want to do some YouTube videos and have a pretty good HD webcam however I can't for the life of me find the software that came with the cam!

    Can any recommend some ideally free software that can be used to record video from the webcam and export in all the good formats?

    An initial Google search didn't seem to reveal anything that good tbh!

    You should be able to download the software from the camera manufacturer.

    If your webcam is HQ, the record will be HD.
