How do I put the referral tag into a search link?

I searched on Amazone for a phrase and then generated my HTML snippet by clicking 'Link to this page', but I don't see any tag=xxxx-20 kind of referral codes in the URL after a visitor has arrived in the search results page.

Is it normal or am I just paranoid? Can I get referrals this way? Thanks!

 

If you were logged in when you created the link using "Link to this page" (or site stripe), then the link will work. Once you reach Amazon, your tag may or may not appear, but that does not matter for commission purposes so don't worry about it!

I don't think you'll get the commission without the tag.

MossoCloud, you can create your own search URL from scratch. From the official Amazon Associates blog:

You'll need the nodes to create the links.
