How do I put affiliate links on blog?

I recently created a blog with blogger.com, and I am a affiliate of amazon. When I paste my affiliate link from amazon into the blog, it won't display the picture from amazon link and it says: Host the picture on a server. Does anyone have an idea as to how I would do this? Thanks in advance!

 

You can use product links or banners.

 

you can also use text links....

that picture thing is wirerd. if you are copying the code right it should work b/c images are hosted with amazon.....

 

I think some Wordpress themes aren't capable of handling affiliate links from CJ.

 

Very simple.. Blogger.com doesn't support that ads. Try to blog on other blog software like self-hosted wordpress. Since wordpress.com is not recommended because you are not allowed to customize your theme there.

 

Thanks guys. I appreciate the help, and guess I will just create a self hosted wordpress blog. In the meantime, I will try the text link on the blog

 

It's javascript or something that's probably disabled on blogger. Try different affiliates/amazon widgets.

 

i think java script is allowed in blogger.. maybe it's just blogger doesn't allow amazon ads.. or if ever they allow amazon, maybe your account is infected by something or just having some error. try making another blog.

 

I don't think you can use Amazon links on Blogger.

 

I think you tried putting just the picture of the product on your blog, for some reason it doesnt show on blogger blogs. Try the ads with the suggested retail price, sale price with the pic., that works.
